Thanks for checking things out for me and I appreciate the feedback. It is funny about the smoking pic, because that was the worst headache I've ever had after that shoot. Mad props to you!!!

I am thrilled to see some strong pictures like this https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 3#21935793 https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 1#21568391 in your port this is my fav https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/22402284 your large tattoos may somewhat limit certain type of mainstream work depending on what clients want but they should open many other doors in alternative modeling. Thank you so much! I find it really interesting that your favorite is also one of mine, and yet is still the only one no one else seems to like. I mean, I am used to only liking pictures of myself that are others least favorites, and usually the ones they like I'm not too fond of. Lol. I supoose it's that whole 'the you, you think you are doesn't exist' thing. But I value your opinion, and adore your work, so it made me smile. Thank you for taking the time! Much appreciated.

I supoose it's that whole 'the you, you think you are doesn't exist' thing. I agree with you, photography is very subjective and what I like or I perceive as I like might be very different from someone else's point of view. I realize I can be shocking for some and be right on spot for others. I critique model ports differently then photographer ports, in other words I don't do a 'one size fits all' thing. I think everyone's work has a value and deserves to be looked at. When I visit a model's port I really do not care about all the technical aspects nor the genre or even who they worked with. I really don't care to see a technical masterpiece in their port to know whether or not they can be a good fit for my or my client's model needs. I like to look into their souls. And it is the exact reason we concur in having same favorite images in your port. It is not a surprise to me. Most other critiques are too busy to slice and dice your photos, discussing light and looks; they forget the essential, the soul. Without soul pictures do not mean much to me. I rather to see a bad picture that can show model’s life and soul, then a perfect but flat lifeless picture.

varton wrote: you have variety in your port from fashion to body parts https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 5#19556775 speaking of which, quite honestly I don't find your framing and cropping very attractive on those. In general you capture life well, those are excellent shots some of your beach shots are a bit flat, and models look candid. this is your best I would say lose the body parts as they make your port weaker. keep shooting, select your models carefully for your portfolio work, avoid posting too many of the same models with similar looks. You can also shed some of your nudes as they do not add much. Varton, Thank you very very much for your constructive criticism. I greatly appreciate it, you have no idea, my friend. I've been trying to get people to view my port and tell me what is right and wrong, with an open eye. I may be wandering a bit aimlessly, but I know that I didn't learn the craft, follow the passion, chart the vision, and come this far to be told that I suck. So, this means a lot to me. Thank you VERY much. You're in Brooklyn too? It would be an honor to meet you and hear more of your words on photography as a whole. Let me know what you think, and if it is possible, I'd put that on my priority list.

Rebecca Darr wrote: I don't have many pictures, but I'll try Rebecca, you have a cute look but your pictures are way too much blurred and doped. I am sure you will be asked to supply some Polaroid for every serious inquiry. It would be helpful to post at least a picture with no make up and not as heavily brushed like the ones you currently have. Some photos are also cropped too tight, like part of limb missing etc. The best you got so far is this Do not post heavily compressed images. You need to post also a full body shot showing better your shape. Nothing to list there I am affraid.

I would be glad to meet you as well; I wish I had more time to meet every one who expressed whish to meet me so far. I get meet up requests a lot but I run a crazy busy schedule. I promised to meet few weeks ago a photographer and stylist from NY area but could not set a definite date. Another photographer from London contacted me to meet during his vacation in NY at the end of this month and I will make every effort to meet him as promised. I am flattered and happy to discuss anything you like just pm me.

I would love to hear some feedback I have done nature wildlife photography for the past 3-4 years. and only recently decided to expand to models. I have a couple shoots under my belt. I personally feel they are really novice photos. but I expected that from my first 2 shoots. so feedback positives/negatives, what to look for could really help me develop my skill in this field.
