Feb 02 07 05:13 pm Link Need: Wedding photographer at a price I can afford (sans Italian leather bound $8000 bullhonkey...) Have: Fashion wardrobe styling services for swimwear and bridal (i'll have 5 bridal gowns that I designed), illustration services, free swimsuit, ... Takers? (Any chance in hell this will work? Do wedding and fashion photography frequently overlap? Been posting in MM market, too..) Feb 02 07 05:17 pm Link UnoMundo Photography wrote: This one should read: Reply to: [email protected] Feb 02 07 05:18 pm Link TFP or TFCD is just that...time for prints or time for cd images. The photographer pays the model with media instead of cash. The fact that cash did not exchange hands does not at all alter the basic features of the agreement. The photographer owns the rights to the pictures. There is no joint anything. Feb 02 07 05:22 pm Link I will model for: Money Travel accommodations/airfare to certain destinations Select clothes Jewelry Hair extensions Plastic surgery Legal services (family law) Exotic vacations Major tear sheets ~ Elaine Feb 02 07 05:26 pm Link let me clarify my earlier post. the photogs I see offering their "services" were clearly offering TFP just for them to get "practice" and so on, as far as trading for a remote starter, an iPod, and a few other things I'm looking for, sheeeeit I'm game Feb 02 07 05:37 pm Link I've got a couple bottles of Champagne I want to get rid of. Any nude models in London that like Champagne? LOL Feb 02 07 06:15 pm Link rvds wrote: me, me! pick me! Feb 02 07 06:18 pm Link Natalie Miller Designs wrote: You are too far! Feb 02 07 06:22 pm Link he, that's a good idea. I might try it. Feb 02 07 06:23 pm Link A lot of photographers around here and I are going to start doing TFP and TFC. Trade For Pie Trade for Cookies Feb 02 07 06:26 pm Link Elaine D wrote: I'll keep them for when you come to London! Feb 02 07 06:27 pm Link Now that you mention it, since TFP is a form of barter, and it's all about a fair exchange of services, there are quite a few forms of compensation that I would actually find more valuable than cash. Plus, often with bartered items (i.e. Hotel stays, memorabilia, Miami Dolphins tickets - hint, hint) the perceived value to me is much higher than a cash payment. Feb 02 07 06:57 pm Link I have been known to on more than a few occasions shoot for coffee, cigarettes and double cheeseburgers. Love that dollar menu! Feb 02 07 07:01 pm Link I like trading for clothes Feb 02 07 07:02 pm Link Would any of you Nor-Cal models be interested in staying a Fri and Sat night in a beautiful Victorian Bed & Breakfast in the Gold Country. You would arrive Friday evening to a champagne reception, find your room, get settled, and relax until the gourmet dinner is served in the formal dining room. Dinner would be a great time to meet the photographers, the other models, and the MUA. (Maximum 10 people total) Saturday morning breakfast on the veranda. Take pictures all day. A masseuse would be wandering around all day taking care of tired shoulders and necks. That evening enjoy another gourmet dinner complete with candlelight and a jazz quartet. Wake up the next morning to another wonderful breakfast. Check out at noon. This is the kind of stuff I like to barter. Do you think there would be any interest in something like this? Feb 02 07 09:53 pm Link I have a winery that is a client - lets just say I have a well stocked wine cellar ... the only problem with trading wine is towards the end of the event my photos look like this: lensbaby 2.0 Feb 02 07 10:17 pm Link I've twice shot with a lady in exchange for a prop from the shoot (in both cases a fake bomb prop...) Feb 02 07 10:25 pm Link i bartered for a spanking, when we finished i said "time for the spanking" she said 'okay' and called her gorilla sized bf up from the car 'how hard do you want it she says...' 'hmm, nevermind...' Feb 02 07 10:43 pm Link I usually do throw in the ever-famous homemade bourbon-soaked chocolate truffles. ;-) Feb 02 07 11:01 pm Link Eric Tragedy wrote: LOL- TF Happy Ending! Feb 02 07 11:04 pm Link The person that fixed my car was an ASE Certified master technician who happened to be in need of headshots. he's in my portfolio Two days ago, I got keys to my own 500 sq. ft. place to build up a photography studio in exchange for a monthly photography retainer!! Feb 03 07 01:38 am Link I need new rotors and brake pads for my Photomobile Feb 03 07 04:06 am Link at this particular moment, I'm feeling frisky Feb 03 07 04:07 am Link I'm willing to sew a bag for anyone who'll shoot me. I'm just learning to sew though, so the bag might be ugly... Feb 03 07 04:17 am Link Natalie Miller Designs wrote: I'm gonna be in Oklahoma in April. Where in Texas are you? Feb 03 07 04:23 am Link I haven't done many shoots yet, but I would trade my time for -things- if the occasion ever arised. lol I guess I could tempt someone to take pictures for me in return for some (not so great) drawings. Feb 03 07 04:30 am Link I will barter a one look photoshot for few bottles of Moët & Chandon *White Star* champagne or Grey Goose Vodka....three bottles of either and your "in" for a shoot, while I have to keep my MUA happy too Feb 03 07 04:49 am Link |
