Yeah.  The goldfish are great.  Among my favorites, indeed.

TFP or TFCD is just that...time for prints or time for cd images.

The photographer pays the model with media instead of cash.  The fact that cash did not exchange hands does not at all alter the basic features of the agreement.  The photographer owns the rights to the pictures.  There is no joint anything.

Now that you mention it, since TFP is a form of barter, and it's all about a fair exchange of services, there are quite a few forms of compensation that I would actually find more valuable than cash.

Plus, often with bartered items (i.e. Hotel stays, memorabilia, Miami Dolphins tickets - hint, hint) the perceived value to me is much higher than a cash payment.

Would any of you Nor-Cal models be interested in staying a Fri and Sat night in a beautiful Victorian Bed & Breakfast in the Gold Country. You would arrive Friday evening to a champagne reception, find your room, get settled, and relax until the gourmet dinner is served in the formal dining room. Dinner would be a great time to meet the photographers, the other models, and the MUA. (Maximum 10 people total)

Saturday morning breakfast on the veranda. Take pictures all day. A masseuse would be wandering around all day taking care of tired shoulders and necks.

That evening enjoy another gourmet dinner complete with candlelight and a jazz quartet.

Wake up the next morning to another wonderful breakfast. Check out at noon.

This is the kind of stuff I like to barter. Do you think there would be any interest in something like this?

I have a winery that is a client - lets just say I have a well stocked wine cellar ... the only problem with trading wine is towards the end of the event my photos look like this:
