Worst degradation in a model's face?
Conversation kicked off earlier on Facebook, with a bunch of posting 'then and now' shots of models/actors etc Criteria? The BIGGEST fall off in looks, in the shortest possible time, by 'life choices alone' For me, this MUST be a winner, but what do the MM clan think? Link, in case you want to copy/paste... http://s11.postimg.org/hmtquvn8j/image.jpg Jul 08 14 10:09 am Link What percentage of those so called "life choices" were made under the influence of drugs and alcohol? 99.9% of them? Jul 08 14 10:14 am Link 3068875 wrote: For the purposes of this thread, the drugs and alcohol ARE the life choices :-) Jul 08 14 10:17 am Link PR Zone wrote: Yes, they are life choices that warp your decision making abilities. So you aren't really making true choices any more. Jul 08 14 10:28 am Link It's always a cheat to use a modelled shoot photo, with probably all the retouching, posing and lighting that goes with that, then compare it to a rough casual shot. Jul 08 14 03:14 pm Link She appears to have been heavily into tanning, and also possibly had some cosmetic procedures done to her face that weren't...um, good. Also, how do you know that is not an altered scandal sheet photo, dressed up to make her look worse than she really does? Scandal mags totally screw around with people's faces to make them look worse. Jul 08 14 03:19 pm Link I always love these "let's kick them when they're down" threads! Ha HA!!! Let's point and laugh at how far they've fallen. It's fun! Jul 08 14 03:26 pm Link The after picture looks low resolution and altered to make her look worse than she actually is. I laugh at all those before and after shots because everyone has their bad days! I can look like an old ugly fart or I can clean up rather nicely. Most anyone can with make up, surgery and photo shop. It is possible to recover some from alcoholism, drug addiction, but not so much damage done by the sun. That's why I'm as white as a ghost .. I'm really a vampire! Jul 08 14 03:27 pm Link Patrick Walberg wrote: That's what I thought too. Jul 08 14 03:29 pm Link Koryn wrote: Yeah, I just added a little more .. sun damage has to be the worst ... I know of no true way to reverse that. Smoking doesn't help much either. Jul 08 14 03:31 pm Link Patrick Walberg wrote: I have some minor sun damage, around my upper cheeks, and the corners of my eyes. I used to think it was really bad, until I started to get professional skin care during the past year. The aesthetician actually commented that the little bit of sun damage I have is NOTHING compared to what's "normal" for a 32 year old woman. Jul 08 14 03:37 pm Link That's probably a "caught in the moment" photo or a modified photo. Noses don't change shape like that...I mean, they can from abuse, but they don't go back to normal. I do not believe she's had any facial surgery. Jul 08 14 03:54 pm Link They forgot to mention tanning booth, smoking and bad plastic surgery. Jul 08 14 04:01 pm Link My first inclination to this post was that I didn't feel right making fun of her, or any other celeb for that matter. If her so called decline in looks was due to substance use of any kind, legal or not, then that's sad, but maybe she's happy? A lot of people just don't age well. Jul 08 14 11:23 pm Link CHAD ALAN wrote: Agree. Jul 09 14 03:58 am Link This is such a shame... I read an article about some scientific studies that were done suggesting that people who look younger/older than their actual age may actually BE younger/older biologically. Many of the people who've been very clean-living can look young for a much longer period than others because their body has not physically aged as much and the same vice versa. And yes Kate Moss is still getting modelling work, but that's because of her celebrity and notoriety, not because she still looks young. Jul 09 14 04:04 am Link Granted, Lindsay has made a few bad choices in her life. The 'duck lips' pose is just one of many Jul 09 14 04:25 am Link JadeDRed wrote: You may be on to something......??? Jul 09 14 04:26 am Link DP Jul 10 14 12:34 am Link Ruby Red UK wrote: Kate Moss used to model for an artist near where I did. We used the same bar too, and so I often would see her quite close up. She'd have been 38 last time I saw her. You wouldn't have put her above 28, and she is still modelling because she has a look which appeals to a young female target audience and she's good at actually modelling, and above all she says "London". Camera mounted single flash, grabbed shot, etc., etc., etc., guaranteed to be a rubbish pic, and it is. Probably intended to be, too. Jul 11 14 12:41 pm Link Kent Art Photography wrote: agreed! Jul 12 14 04:08 am Link She looks like Donatella Versace in the candid photo! Not good. And yes, I do feel sorry for her - she was a stunning girl and obviously has a fucked up family life and many problems. I hope she can get better.
