Closed. I'd love to tell you what I think, which may or may not be useful, mildly ego-crushing, or blatantly full of ass kissing. Note: -I am a model. I know very little about lighting and angles, other than to tell you if I think it looks good or not. -I do alternative modeling. If you do fashion, glamour, or commercial, I will probably just say 'nice shoes' and move on (this goes for photographers and models) -If the photo is linked, it's 18+ -This takes me awhile. If you can't be patient, don't ask. -Since this does take awhile, I will leave you a tag when I finish yours. (By all means keep checking back, but I'll also tag you if I haven't seen you for a few posts) Okay. Here goes. Notes: If you post without reading the op, I will not critique you. If you have posted, then ask if I have skipped you, when, in fact, you are clearly still ON the list...You will be removed. Thank you.

Sure -- go for it! PS. Should I wear my Harley Davidson boots on a shoot, or will my black New Balance shoes be sufficient?

I'm a simple, laid back guy who like most lads my age lives & dies for football. I live a healthy lifestyle; I don't drink, I don't smoke (though if asked to for a shoot I'll do it) and I don't do drugs. ** We don't need to know that. Any of it, interesting as it is. We would, however, like to know your availability. As for photos, the first two things that come to mind are: You need more of them. I know you're revamping, so you probably know that too! The second negative that pops out at me is: This is a brilliant composite: The 3 single shots of the same hair/face/outfit are also fantastic. Pick one or the other, there's no need for 3 shots AND a composite of the same thing. This seems very handy, and shows the versatility of your face without you having to do much. Awesome. This is very cool, but I wish the arm wrapped around your waist was a little more visible. Maybe at a different angle or to the side, so your arm doesn't disappear against the suit, and then re-appear at the hand when it comes out of the sleeve. I really like the one on the left. The one on the right, I think you should have tilted your chin up a little, so the shape of your jaw wasn't hidden by your knees. I also think it would be better if you chose just one (and obviously, I think that one should be the left one) As for your other photos--I am so out of my depth there that I will just say-You look real nice. If you want to do more art photos, do more while you're re-vamping, it's clear you have a nice looking head, and you can obviously do fashion, so have some fun with some art things

Ben Hoffy wrote: go for it You do good work, so far as I can see, and I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with most of the styles you shoot to be able to critique much. On your profile, could you please list some of the models you've worked with, including MM #s for easy reference? This is a nice photo, except it hits one of my pet peeves. Props should never block any part of the face, even just the chin, unless it's really, really, intentional. Her glove isn't really helping make a frame for her face, it's just...there. And I can see backdrop wrinkles. Her location and outfit don't really match, and there's a lot of glare on things, that just make her look dark comparitively. Your fitness and swimsuit stuff is really, really good.

First of all, I'm biased towards harley davidson boots, as that is my shoe of choice unless I'm shooting or barefoot. Second: OMFG. Critiques take me long time, and I have to get ready for work, so I come back and do more later, on Tuesday while I'm bored at work. I will poke people as I get to them starting Tuesday. Third: I fucking love what you do with photos. Which means I will have absolutely nothing to say to you come Tuesday, or I'm going to nitpick the hell out of things.

(note. 2 photos from finished, mozilla hated on me. i hate stuff sometimes) At the beginning, there were words, and yours were good. On to photos. Your fantasy stuff is awesome, and you tend to do themed shoots, and show several from the same set. Make a book. I like to look at all of them, but other people will get bored, especially since you have such variety. Some people will assume you have 3 pages of the same style. Of the first set, I like this one the best: All of them are beautiful, I think this one shows the most emotion. Both of these are awesome, but I think this one is just a little better. Being a morbid bitch, this is my favorite of this set: http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 6b85b5.jpg But keep the whole thing, so I can leer at it. Also, this particular one, it doesn't make sense if you only see one, even if any one if them is still beautiful. All of your fantasy stuff rocks. I have no real criticism to offer, so I'm just going to stare for a second and move on now Simple. Beautiful. Evocative. I would go ahead and get rid of this: http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … a2083b.jpg On it's own, it's awesome. Next to the other two, which are also awesome, it seems a little redundant, because the other one in the woods is a similar ish location, and the one in the water has nearly the same pose, only horizontal. https://img2.modelmayhem.com/050804/00/ … 29718a.jpg She seems really, really, out of place here, and that reflects sort of badly on you. It's a good picture of her, and it's a nice location, but the her make up just doesn't work with where she's at. It's an uncomfortable sort of dichotomy. https://img3.modelmayhem.com/060301/05/ … 032c5a.jpg Graffiti AND a train?! https://img2.modelmayhem.com/050703/03/ … bd1d7e.jpg this is simply beautiful. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … f6a713.jpg I'm personally opposed to initials, partial names, general identifiable information being visible on anything shot in a graveyard. Also, no matter how well done, I think a naked girl leaning on someone's gravestone is tacky. Creepy. You win. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 932f1b.jpg Normally I like a little more contrast, but you make it work here. Cool. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 24ace7.jpg this is classic and beautiful and reminds me Theda Bara. Perfect. You got exactly what you were trying for. This is also beautiful, and looks like you aren't supposed to see her doing something as normal as adjusting her shoe. Fantastic. The colors behind this make this picture awesome (even though it would have been cool anyway). Also, the model reminds me of my friend cookie. Points for her! Goth girl and graffiti. For what it is, it's good, but it is what it is. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 167a75.jpg I do not know how you managed to make this happen so perfectly. This is...no words. It is. You rock my fucking socks right the hell off. https://img2.modelmayhem.com/051013/02/ … 0e166d.jpg This is really cool. I'm not sure why, but it is. https://img2.modelmayhem.com/050920/02/ … 095455.jpg ! You fucking rock. You know stops this from being perfect? The background. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 9b1049.jpg She's pretty. You can work a camera well. I'm bored. That's probably my favorite of the three, but you have generally waaay better work. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 0e1a36.jpg This looks like you caught an artist in the middle of working on or in her studio. Very cool. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 899f2d.jpg This is beautiful. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 9ac129.jpg I don't know what it is about this photo, but I keep expecting the next one to be him twisting his nipples with a thought bubble that says 'I'd fuck me'. Great shot. https://img1.modelmayhem.com/051204/13/ … 412838.jpg Again, background, otherwise perfect. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … f605e7.jpg Beautiful. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 326ae8.jpg have I told you yet that you're brilliant?! This is a great concept, and you pulled it off with flair and awesomeness. I owe you a cookie. Not what I'm used to seeing from you. That makes it even more awesome, because it's just a well done shot to begin with. Good angle. Pretty portrait. Pretty girl. Let's move on. Heeheee! Girls do this all the time! You make the cool happen with this. I love this! I did not expect normal super cute from you, and yet, not only did you do it, you rocked it. beautiful picture of a beautiful girl, and you even caught one of those every day moments in a memorable way. http://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/pho … 3d8451.jpg Well done. round of applause. If she wasn't standing up and wearing a t-shirt, this would be just like the one before it. It's pretty, but so's the other one, and the other one has the boobages. You can even do sports type photos. Fuck. Pretty, normal, fun day. Well shot. You make graffiti look cool, and not cliche or 'edgy'. I do not understand, but I approve. this is another one where the make up and hair just seem a little too much for where she is, besides, you have a *much* better picture of this model, and she looks kind of bored here. Sweeeet. i like masks! And I like cool hats! I'd like to see you do more goth fashion things, to see different stuff from you. You do awesome stuff. I either want to work with you, eat your brains to steal your talent, or both.

Druax wrote: I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks! Beginning with your profile.... When are you available? Are you mostly/just looking for tfp? Do you travel? You are definitely about to hit someone with that beer bottle. Well done! This is pretty. It's very nice. I think the other model could have brought a little more emotion, but you rocked the hell out of it. lovely headshot. It draws attention. Why isn't it your avatar? I don't know why you call it meatball, you like like a vulnerable boy man who's just had a bad dream and wants a hug. I bet the wimmins love it. Very relaxed. Very good. It looks like your eyes are looking in two different directions, but otherwise I like this. Because of the appearance of a lazy eye, I would make this one of the first I would take down when you get more stuff. Or hell, even now, you show plenty of versatility and have at least one other good headshot (I tend to look one at a time, so I haven't really seen past this one yet) Stressful day? You portray it well. Yup. You're a good looking kid. On with the show. This is beautiful. I kind of wish you were either both looking at the camera, or both looking at each other though. As is, it has a sort of uncomfortable transitional feel, as though she's aware of an observer, but you aren't, so it's less 'capturing a moment' as 'almost interrupting one' Is there a naked lady over there? You look pleased to be in your situation. Cool. The lighting gives the photo an intimate feeling. Dude! Why is the shadow eating your hands?! well done. A few more full body shots wouldn't hurt you any, and by all means, continue to diversify, but overall, you seem a pretty versatile, talented, sort of man prop.
