I seem to find myself on MM at least a few times a day. I figure it is time I do something constructive while I am here.
I might not be the best at what I do....but I do a lot. I am first a photographer, 2nd a model and 3rd a MUA. I like doing it all I guess you could say!
I will take the time to tell you each what I honestly think about your port. If you are overly sensitive than please do not ask. This is a critique you know.
All I ask is that you try and take a little time out to check out my work and leave me a comment or a tag!
Can't wait to see your work!

I would have to say that #8 is your best shot. I think you need to get more lighting. It looks like you are just shooting with an on camera flash. The lighting here looks very flat and boring. If lighting is something you can't afford at the moment, go get a reflector for outdoor shots. Other than that...I recommend you start working with a MUA. This will make a big difference. The girls look like they are average and everyday chicks. These are all things I have learned along the way! Keep on shooting though.... you will only get better!

I think her expression is spot on. I really like it.
Your lighting is not bad....I would like to see more of the creative B&W's. You did a nice job with the guy with his shirt off. I just wish he was looking the other direction.
What I am not liking is the wig the one girl in your port is wearing in a bunch of the shots. (like your avatar) It is totally obvious and is really cheezy looking. The other thing is the fake beach backdrop. This is ok if you are shooting kids in your studio...not modeling shots. I shoot kids in my studio...not models. I have learned never to substitute fake over the real thing. This is an expensive field to be in! Keep up the great work though!

I Know I have commented on a few of your pics before. I think that you certainly have some nice work. I would have to say this is my favorite shot:
https://modelmayhm-6.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/080218/20/47ba332dad3fc_m.jpg
I think It is sooo pretty on every level. Makeup is great, great lighting and great depth of field.
You also have some awesome pics of Holly. Although every time I see pics of her I think they were shot in a Rolondo workshop. Were they?
What I am not digging about your port is the makeup in some of the shots. I realize this has nothing to do with you..but it appears you must have rehired the MUA. Unless you or the model did it yourself. They are the ones with the masks....sorry but they are horribly done. I would remove them pronto!
THanks!!!!

I see a lot of creativity here! You look super fab!
You have some very pretty artstic nudes as well. I have never been a fan of bondage so they are my least fav. The second pic is your not very good..I would remove that one. You seem pretty versatile though! I see you modeling just to make money though. If you want to go to agencies..I would stop with the bondage. You have such a pretty body...Use it in a pretty way!!
Thanks!

Yep, the Holley pictures are from Rolando workshops. I doubt that I could afford her on a one-on-one basis! smile Edit to add: That while they were taken at Rolando's workshop I do shoot quite a bit outside of what most of the people shoot at his workshops by focusing more on ambient light and little to no strobe lighting. He comes up with a lot of models that I would never have a chance to shoot if not for his workshops.

And the makeup in a lot of the shots is due, on some level, to me. I use the same MUA a lot and I ask her to do wild, creative, out of the box makeup. I am undecided on if I will leave them in or not (some of them will go away because they are too similar to other shots from the same shoot); I am trying to get a read on what others think, add that to my own thoughts, and come to a decision.

I really appreciate that you have taken the time to look and comment!

Another young lady from PA! Greetings from the East side!
This shot is my favorite:

It is very well done. You look pretty bad ass I must say! The photog did a great job too!
I do not like the first 2 pics in your port. I think they are way too myspace like. The other one I do not like is the trash can shot. I think it was a cool idea....just executed poorly. I think you need to work with a different photg on that one...your eyes are not lit, the angle is all wrong and you are missing a few digits! You certainly have other shots that are creative though, I like them.
Keep on shooting. I would like to see you in some beautiful gowns....this time take the metal out of your face. It is cool for everyday...not in the modeling profession unless you want to be goth!
Good job on the representation! Best of luck to you!!!

#9 is my fav shot...I clearly can't show it though. I think you are doing a fantastic shot with the fine art nudes! I recently started doing them myself with photography. Unless this is all that you want to shoot..I would put more fashion or commercial stuff in your port. I say this because If you asked me to model..I would say NO. This is because I would be paranoid you were going to try to get me naked the whole time. It is not for everybody....plus you want to seem well rounded when approaching models. Keep it up though...I would love to see more from you in regards to shooting other stuff!

You totally rocked this look! This is an amazing photographer...shoot with him more..then go see some agencies. You are tall and still super sexy! I would like to see you play with your expressions a bit more...they seem to be the same. Your bikini shots are good...you just have too many of them...shoot more fashion. You have the prefect body!.... Damn you!

This is a gorgeous shot...If you can work with this photog more often. You have a very the girl from next door look to you. I think you need to funk it up a bit girl. Hire a MUA if no one will get you one. You need it...will be worth every penny! This will really help you since you look the exact same in every single pic...this said you need to work on your expressions! Practice in the mirror if you have to! The pic that sticks out to me that you should ditch is the one where you are throwing your hair around...not a great shot of you. Keep it up and keep on shooting though

Kudos to all involved. You clearly know you are fabulous by the way you talk in your profile. I would write something else there. I personally would hesitate to hire you when reading this. You seem sorta snobby...tell me why I should hire you. Just my opinion though! Keep it up...I would love to see more work from you!!!

Ok..I hate to say this to anyone..but if you want to persue this whole modeling thing ad keep shooting in lingerie..I think you need to loose a few pounds and tone up. I am not trying to be mean. I certainly do not want you to go and starve yourself...just think about it before you eat that next cheeseburger lol! I think you are very pretty...You should hire a mua though. Makeup is very different than everyday when it comes to shoots. It will make a huge difference in your shots! I think you need to keep on shooting..keep on doing tfcd. It will only make you better since you need help with your expressions. Look through other models ports and see what they are doing and how they are posing. Keep a list so next time you go on a shoot you can play with it. Nothing in your port at the moment really jumps out at me. This is ok..

I do not mean that in a bad way! You have some pretty cool stuff..some of it is a bit cheezy though. Cool ideas that you have butchered a bit. I like the newspaper idea...the furry jacket seems to me to be all wrong though. Makes not sense at all. I like the one with the bright colors and the newspaper though. Your avatar...is so typical glam....boring if you ask me. I think your lighting is good as well as your ideas...just take out the sleaz. Sorry...just my opinion.  The other pic that does stand out to me is the girl in the hallway...great image! Keep on shooting though!
