Often over the years.

A lot of people are paranoid about shooting them.  I am not.  I have never understood why people don't understand limits.

Thousands. Never a problem.  Of course, I don't ask them to get naked and I don't touch them.  That'd make things a lot different.  For those who can't keep their hands to themselves or cannot stand seeing them in clothes, I'd avoid 'em all together.

Side Note: It's not illegal to photograph a minor, nude, in the US. I don't though.

Very rarely. Just one or 2 extra people to coordinate to the shoot. I like the models, the moms (especially) can be a real PITA. The dads go to sleep! lol

I do. My avatar is 16. I am always professional. So far, all of the "model moms" have had absolutely nothing but great things to say about my shoots and the pictures that their child gets from me.

Now and again.  (Not nude other than a four month old, for the record)  There has to be a good reason for it, since there is a bit of extra complexity there.

I shot a sixteen year-old a few years back. Mum was perfect. Always within earshot, never more than 50 yards away, but I never saw her while I was shooting. Made both the model and I feel more confident. NO Nudes, by the way. It is my understanding that in Canada it is a Criminal Code Offense (equivalent to a U.S. felony) to shoot a minor in the nude, regardless of context or clothed in a suggestive manner.

Yes I shoot underage models.  I had no problems with it.

My avatar is Keshia and she is 13.  Plus she had eight photographer's on Model Mayhem shoot her.

I only shot one; my daughter.

I don't look for it, because of release and work rules issues.  Might consider doing "Senior pictures" for hire, but that's a bit different.

As far as nudes, I wouldn't do it, but my best understanding is that in a non sexual context (think "naturists") it's legal with parental consent.  Not something I want to deal with though.

Most fashion models are 16 or younger and typically finished modeling by 21. If you're going to shoot for catalogs and all you're going to run into minors.

I don't actively search for underage models; but I wouldn't turn down shooting them due to their age, depending on the project.

Quite often, some projects require younger models, it all depends on the shoot...

If mom and dad show up with the "underage" model and their checkbook, I'd gladly take portraits for them...oh wait... thats called a photography business....hmmmm.

Ever seen all those pictures of "underage" models on the walls at the Sears Portrait studio, Portrait innovations, Wal-mart, etc?
